Synopsis
A Town Called Friendly is a musical highlighting true, historical stories of Farmersville, Texas. The musical spans 150 years of history culminating in Farmersville's sesquicentennial, celebrated this year. Collectively, these stories unfold from the perspective of Charles Rike, a member of Farmersville's heritage families and owner of Farmersville's first pharmacy, in collaboration with Bob Poole, a reporter and owner of The Farmersville Times and overseen by the Narrator who transcends time to relay fascinating anecdotes.
