RULES & REGULATIONS
Deposit
A 25% deposit will save the date and will be applied to the total amount owed. In the event of a cancellation, the Save the Date payment is non-refundable.
Final Payment
The final payment is due 4 day before your event. Invoices are sent by email. In the event that the final payment is not received the day before the event, we reserve the right to cancel your event and no deposit money will be refunded.
Venue Details
Included in the rental fee is access to all areas on the ground floor of the space. Furniture that is located in the main hall may be used and moved. Furniture, AV equipment, set pieces, props, costumes, wood, construction tools and materials other than furniture for the main hall may only be used or moved with approval from the Executive Director or AV Director, and only with their supervision. The side yard is not property of Fine Arts on Main. The backstage doors may be used for loading and unloading as well as emergency exits. Leave all the walkways clear in case of an emergency. If you have hired any outside companies, make them aware of the rental times. Example: DJ rentals have a long setup and teardown time.
Stage
The stage may be used as a professional entertainment space. We have stairs and ramps for your use and we ask that you do not jump on and off the stage. Any equipment, cables, props, or furniture that is brought on stage will need prior approval with our Executive Director and AV Director. No food or drinks are allowed on stage. The stage curtains can be moved with the ropes that are located on the stairs behind the stage. Do not push or pull curtains with your hands.
All reservations are made upon and subject to the rules and regulations of Fine Arts on Main and are subject to the following conditions:
No smoking is allowed anywhere in the building or on the side yard. Smoking is only allowed in the backyard.
A TABC licensed, and insured, bartender is required to serve all alcohol. No shots are allowed. Payment to the bartender is the responsibility of the party leasing the facility. Alcohol service and consumption will stop when the TABC licensed bartender stops service, which must end no later than one hour before the conclusion of the scheduled event. All outside alcohol MUST be given to a TABC licensed bartender for serving. Alcohol is strictly prohibited to all minors under the age of 21. You must provide Fine Arts on Main a copy of the TABC license and insurance certificate for $1,000,000.00, industry standard. Alcohol service is limited to no longer than 6 hours during a scheduled event.
A certified peace officer or other approved security service will be required where alcohol is served, preferably from a local municipality or surrounding police department. All approved security services are required to carry liability insurance. Payment to the peace officer or security service is the responsibility of the party leasing the facility. The officer or security service must be present during the entire time alcohol is being served (this does not include during set up or breakdown/clean up). The officer or security service are not required to be armed.
No decorations can be pinned, screwed or nailed to the walls of the facility. Only gaff tape can be used on floors. Painter’s tape may be used on the walls. Candles must be used in a glass container. The top of the glass must go above the top of the flame. All decor items must be removed from the property by the end of the event rental time. Fine Arts on Main does not provide storage or security for any items left by you, your guests or vendors.
Glitter, hay, rice, bird seed, silly string, confetti, sprinkles, or gel like substances cannot be used in any place on the premises.
Fireworks, illegal drugs and illegal firearms are not permitted on Fine Arts on Main premises. No sparklers over 24 inches are allowed and no wooden handled sparklers.
A Fine Arts on Main representative will be available during your event for venue needs but not to serve as catering staff or perform coordinator, decorator, DJ or other vendor services. The venue representative is available to assist with changes to the floor plan, either prior to an event or during.
Client tours will be allowed on the day of an event, prior to the event, but not during a planned or scheduled meeting.
Fine Arts on Main reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions held on the Fine Arts on Main property to ensure that they are being conducted in a manner consistent with the operations of Fine Arts on Main Venue safety precautions, federal, state and local laws and/or regulations, and with the comfort and safety of other guests in mind. You will be responsible for all damage to persons and/or property on or in relation to Fine Arts on Main which results from acts or omissions of you, your guests, or separately contracted service providers.
Catering: No offensive smelling food, or raw onions. Fine Arts on Main does not stock any kitchen supplies or ice. We do have a refrigerator just for food if needed. If you need a sink for any reason, please use the back stage sink only.
